Gala Royals Chosen

Gala Winners 2018We have Winners!

Tonight, we’re proud to announce that EIGHT children have been chosen to represent the Gala Royals at Blantyre Summer Gala this coming Sunday 10th June 2018.

For the last few weeks, Susan Lindner and the bees at Bonnie Blantyre have been collecting local nominees and hosted an excellent random draw today which included many members of the community, from kids, to elderly, individuals and businesses! You can see the live random draws on the Bonnie Blantyre page here: https://www.facebook.com/BonnieBlantyre/

All the schools were involved and winners selected from each.

EIGHT lucky kids are going to be pampered that day with their names engraved in history as representing our town’s gala.

GALA WINNERS ARE:

Blantyre Gala Queen is Emily Sereno (7)
Blantyre Gala King is Jack McCallum (7)

Assisted by:

Lord Blantyre Conor McLean (7)
Lady Blantyre Brooke Rodger (9)
Prince of Blantyre (8)
Princess of Blantyre Melissa Rae Cassidy (10)
Duchess of Blantyre Sophie Bella Martin (9) and
Duke of Blantyre Cole Mills (8)

CONGRATULATIONS to the lucky winners and thank you very much to over 90 others who entered and were unsuccessful this year.

Parents and guardians of the winners should look out for further details about the day. Children are asked to dress smartly. Robes, crowns and medals will be provided, as well as goodie bags! We’re looking at getting the girls hair done on that morning too as well as arranging other surprises. Any questions meantime can be addressed to Blantyre Community Committee.

Once again, special thanks to Susan Lindner who made this complex competition appear seamless.
