WHAT TO BRING
- Vendors may wish to bring a gazebo in order to hang products and goods from if you specifically wish to be outside.
- Vendors may wish to bring an additional chair
- Vendors may wish to bring clothes rails, which we’ll try to accommodate too.
Blue badge holders will be able to park next to the marquees near the bottom of John Street. Parking is free and available also at the red ash park nearby. Goods left at your own risk. Parking attendant(s) will assist parking.
SIZE OF PITCH
We’ve listened to your feedback in previous years so this year you’ll have good space around your pitch!
We have now paid for the marquee, table and chair hires. Therefore, refunds WILL NOT be given for any non attendance, regardless of reason. For clarity, your Stall payment is NON REFUNDABLE.
Blantyre Community Committee cannot be responsible for how much stock you sell or the popularity of your stall. Your Stock and belongings are solely your responsibility. Anything you leave out or on display is at your own risk. There is no daytime security at the event, although first aid is on hand.
The weather is expected to be very good, dry, sunny and warm. Please ensure you bring sunscreen and keep refreshed.
Wheelie Bins will be located throughout the venue but please take all your rubbish and empties away with you afterwards. The pitch area must be left totally clear at the end of the event. There will be a £10 fine to any pitch holder who has left it in a mess as we need to pay to dispose of the rubbish and clear it up. If you need assistance just ask but please do not dump full bin bags.
Any problems, the Committee can instantly be contacted on Facebook.
There will be a hot and cold food available from vendors on site. The nearest ATM facilities are nearby at ASDA, so better to come with cash for any purchases. A licensed beer tent is operating on site too.
Venue postcode: Stonefield Public Park (also called McAnulty Park), Low Blantyre, just off Glasgow Road, Blantyre, G72.
Can be found here. https://blantyrecommunitycommittee.com/book-a-stall/ when you arrive your table will be marked with your pitch number. If stuck, ask a volunteer wearing hi vis vests.
Selling of soft drinks is not permitted, this service provided exclusively by the Committee. Silly string is extremely difficult to clear from the park so no selling of this. Fireworks and tobacco products for sale are also disallowed.
Lets have some fun folks! Good luck with trading and see you all there!
