Young Volunteer of the Year Finalists

Our very own Lewis Watt, youngest member of Blantyre Community Committee has been shortlisted by Voluntary Action South Lanarkshire as “Young Volunteer of the Year!”

Lewis (7), a Blantyre pupil thoroughly deserves the nomination. He’s a little grafter and could be seen at the recent gala weekend and other Committee events volunteering to carry chairs for guests, litterpicking and even manning some of our stalls, all without grumble or complaint!

His likeable personality, drive to work hard, friendliness, positivity and desire to please others is infectious. EXACTLY what a small committee of volunteers need!

The Shortlist for Young Volunteer of the Year, in no particular order are:
Evan McKill
Lewis Watt
Cailean Stillie

Well done Lewis! Congratulations to all the finalists!
