Festive Market Bookings now OPEN!

2018 Market OpenSTALL BOOKINGS OPEN! Attention Market Vendors!

Market Stall pitch bookings are now open for booking at this years Festive Event. If YOU would like a Market Pitch at Blantyre’s Festive event on Sunday 25th November 2018 (midday-5pm), you can now book using Blantyre Community Committee’s automated booking process.

Pitches offered are just £30 for the day and are 3m x 2m.  The pitch consists of a covered festive stall with table, seat and binbags. Pitches are both indoor and outdoors. This year to protect against inclement weather, the market is primarily hosted inside the large Sports Centre hall. (Important: note the change in venue! This year’s event is being held at Stonefield Public Park, Low Blantyre). A few stalls requiring power will be permitted inside the Sports Hall.

The Committee this year can accommodate 50 vendors in total (approximately 30 inside, 20 outside), allocated on a first come, first served basis so you better be FAST! This WILL sell out! Note, once the market bookings have reached 50 stalls, it will strictly close with no further room for others. A stall number will be allocated to you 24 hours after payment is made and can be found on the website.

HOW TO BOOK:

Bookings can be made securely online using either Paypal, Card or direct Bank Transfer here:

https://blantyrecommunitycommittee.com/book-a-stall/

As before, Cash and cheques will NOT be accepted. Payment is strictly due the same day as submitting the application form online. Terms and conditions apply and can be found also on that link. Please be aware all bookings are strictly non refundable.

Let’s make this the best market yet! Get booking folks!

We’re looking for Subscribers

supportBlantyre Community Committee has launched ‘Recurring Subscriptions‘! We’re looking for local residents, organisations and businesses to support the Blantyre Summer Gala Weekend, Live at Livvies and Festive event, by donating an annual amount starting at just £5.

Thats just over 1p per day, or just a little more than the price of a pub drink for the whole year! Your donation of £5 would go entirely towards providing vital services at our events, like toilets, cleaners, security and insurances. Payment is by either card or Paypal.

Our small Committee relies wholly on donations and raising funds ourselves in order to host events, so building up a good list of subscribers willing to kindly assist with small donations, is very important to us.

Of course you can set how much you wish to subscribe, and have full control if you want to cancel at any time. Please DO try to support Blantyre’s Public events using this method. We hope you all enjoy yourselves at our events and as long as there’s funds , our enthusiastic volunteers will continue to organise these events every year!

You can find out more and safely, quickly set up a subscription here https://blantyrecommunitycommittee.com/subscription/

Thank you sincerely and please feel free to share.
